Hi guys.

My kids ride on car came with this adaptor. It seems the adaptor has died and its sealed so I'm buggered.

Problem is I can only find this red style plug in in the US. The car came from Halfords.

Am I best to buy a new 6V adaptor and splice the red plug in onto it?

Cheers,

Nick

I would.

Is there any indication on the charger case of the polarity of the terminals in the red connector ?

Not much to give a feeling of scale, but its not disimilar to a Deans connector.

Looks a bit like this:

Although yours has an additional latching mechanism at the bottom. They might fit.

Otherwise, yours looks like normal spade terminals would be okay (but you'd need to make sure you know which way around they are!)

You should be able to tell from the white stripe on one of the wires. White will signify either positive or negative.

You are WELCOME wink

Anyway, this looks like it:

(Yaesu batteries very common in ride-ons)
