D A B radio- fitting

Has anyone fitted a DAB radio, retro or separate add on unit.(i have A4 ,B8,S-Line with Symphony system & MMI )
. If I go down the separate add on route I don,t wan,t to lose the good traffic reports, as a lot of my journeys are around the N/West,Liverpool,Manchester,M56,M6,etc.appreciate any feedback or recommends on the various units out on the market, cheers,Charlieboyo

I've fitted a couple of aftermarket head units with DAB, all I can say is make sure you get a decent aerial as reception with cheap ones is very very hit and miss.

Hi there,

I fitted a factory dab tuner to my 2006 audi S8. The MMI allows for DAB to be selected if fitted. Do you have DAB greed out on source?

I also fitted an after market DAB system to our BMW 130 with business audio, well Halfords did? Screen based stick on aerial woks OK.

Alternative we also use for Gold is streaming to mobile and through Aux cable to head unit. Gold reception stops at Stokenchurch on M40, but this is still working in York.
