Gearbox reset?

Hello to all.
I have a 2011 BMW 730D with the 6 speed gearbox.
Recently I've noticed it's rather too slurry in 2nd gear, particularly when for example accelerating off a roundabout, e.g. Light throttle, then progressively applying more throttle as the road straightens.
It doesn't seem to do it with Sport mode selected, so I wonder a reflash of the gearbox would cure it.
