Chromecast what do I need?

So If I have an Android tablet and a non smart TV, I can buy a Chromecast and plug in to give me a smart TV and mirror my tablet, correct?

It will do Youtube and iPlayer etc? Any restrictions?

Is the new one the best one?

For £30, any deals I should be considering?

Your non-smart TV must have an HDMI port, and if it also has a USB port for power that'll help too, though you can use a mains adaptor if you have to.

The new one is much better than the original. Have a look on eBay for refurbished ones from Maplin if you want to save a few quid.

They work well with an android phone - you can mirror anything to the Chromecast.
