Start up- practical questions
Discussion
Hi Folks
I need the following, any advice greatly received:
1) On the spot, online and over the phone card payment facility for use at a home office.
2) Business bank account.
3) Stationary/ business cards.
4) Public liability insurance, indemnity insurance, car insurance for business use to include carrying passengers (not a taxi).
Before I start trawling around if anyone can recommend providers of the above I'd be very grateful.
Thanks.

1) not sure as I have no personal experience, but companies like paypal, stripe etc might be worth checking out
2) Have a chat with whoever you have as your current account bank. I find it useful having online banking for personal and business in same app. Barclays for me. Not perfect but acceptable.
3) Moo.com for good quality
4) Our very own Insurance Jon. He provides mine and other PHers insurance and is extremely helpful for start up questions, from personal experience

Not really being pedantic at all.
The word "stationary" has a very different meaning.
It's always funny to see somebody in the office stationery business fail to spell the core word of the business correctly.
You aren't alone. I was in a W H Smith's not so long ago and they had a sign up saying "Stationary Sale". I suppose it could have been true up to a point - because the shop wasn't moving at the time.
