Longer than it took you to double post smile

Usually about 2-3 weeks after build it is delivered.

My 718 Boxster is due to arrive at the OPC on the December 6th. CP8 was November 28th, so that is only eight days.

I'm not sure. My final spec is already on the Porsche system.

They have given me the build date of 19/1/17 and I see they have done a credit check already.

I think VAG is trying to deliver as many cars as possible to the UK before the end of the year. I understand Audi UK are trying to fulfil large fleet manager orders before the prices rise. Porsche GB seems to be doing the same, which could be tied up with currency hedging ending on December 31st. The African Highwaqy is doing the Emden - Sheerness and Emden - Grimsby runs. The Gran Canaria Car Ro-Ro docked at Sheerness last night with an additional load of VAG cars. I suspect deliveries will slow in January, so expect two to three weeks.

My 718 Boxster arrived at the OPC yesterday, 7 days after it was built (CP8) Must be a record.

Out of interest, how long does a build take, start to finish within the factory?
