Android Call Filtering
Discussion
Does anyone know of an Android app which will enable me to reject calls form certain contacts between specific times of the day? My office phone redirects to my mobile when I'm not there, but at weekends (or in the middle of the night) I want to bounce the call to voicemail without my phone ringing. I only want this to happen to the office phone contact, not to any of my other contacts.
My virtual number service doesn't seem to allow me to suspend the redirect at certain times of day.

Expecting people to suggest Tasker, but quick googling suggests it can't be programmed to reject, it will still ring for 1-2 seconds, I guess that doesn't help much?
This does what you need by the looks of it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....

Yeah, I looked at that call blocker thing, but I don't want to 'block' the calls, I just want to bounce them. I wasn't sure if that app would do what I wanted. This does what you need by the looks of it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....
I used an app called "Should I Answer?" for a while. It's aimed at spam blocking, but from memory I think it would do what you want as well.
It was a little tricky to set up with the exact behaviour I wanted, and it's not a case of simply installing and you're done, but after analysing each call it blocked for a while and tweaking a few settings along the way, I liked it.
I uninstalled it only when the unwanted calls dried up and it wasn't having to block anything any more. If I get another wave of them, I wouldn't hesitate to install it again.
EDIT: On second thoughts, it might not work for you. I'll leave the post here in case it's useful for anyone else.

Nice find. I have always used Truedialler but hated the UI.It was a little tricky to set up with the exact behaviour I wanted, and it's not a case of simply installing and you're done, but after analysing each call it blocked for a while and tweaking a few settings along the way, I liked it.

This seems to fit the bill nicely.
