I'm trying to establish the country of origin of a registration plate:

BS 150

Seen on a vechile in the south of France, it was a small white plate with no indication of its country of origin.

Any help/thoughts appreciated

One possibility would be a UK plate. webuyanycar suggests the plate is on a black 520D.

Sounds like Monaco if small white plate front & rear, particularly if seen in the South of France.

Although they do have Principaute De Monaco on them iirc

It's not an UK reg, I'm sure of that.

Monaco is the right part of the world, but I'm not sure it's a Monaco plate?

Definitely not Finland - the font is different (most noticeable on the 5).

Swiss cherished plate IMO.

BS = Basel-Stadt

Similar (definitely Swiss) plate...

He isn't biggrin Finnish plates start with three letters. Finnish vanity plates start with one letter, with the exception of the unique combination of 'ÅL'

I'm now 100% certain it is Swiss.
