Non-Porsche sports exhaust by the looks of things, as it's missing the button if that bothers the OP not being switchable.eastsider said:
Seems over priced to me considering no engine rebuild at all? Mileage isn't particularly low either think it'll struggle at thay priceOne thing im finding is most decent cars all seem to be down south, grrr!

£24k spent since 2015!!!
Looks a great example, £10k Hartech rebuild, suspension sorted and new back boxes (doesn't say if they're original PSE though?). You can easily spend £5k getting a lesser example up to scratch and that's not even considering the rebuilt engine.
However... it is a Tiptronic cabrio 4S so it's the heaviest/slowest 996 Carrera of them all!
Oh wait, Tippy cab? Looks a great example, £10k Hartech rebuild, suspension sorted and new back boxes (doesn't say if they're original PSE though?). You can easily spend £5k getting a lesser example up to scratch and that's not even considering the rebuilt engine.

I'm out!

Whilst I accept the "tippy Cab" isn't the favoured choice of the 996 C4S, I'd just like to say it shouldn't be over looked depending on what you're after. Yes, I have a one, but I do ~3k mostly sunny miles each year, and as a weekend cruiser, roof down, it's perfect for my needs.
I've had my "tippy cab" for nearly 5 years now and have enjoyed very minute. I do around 6K a year and put the hard top in the winter months. I realise it's "not a proper Porsche" (water cooled), a "hairdressers car" (cab) and not a proper sports car ("tip") but is a great car usable every day. I will add the caveat that I'm old Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
