Think these cars are incredible value at list - blue or any other colour. I can’t think of much else for the money that is such a good all rounder. Very surprised the car mentioned above hasn’t been more widely advertised as I think there would be a queue!
Any idea what dealers are bidding for the less desirable / “not really a GT3” Touring or if there are any off the radar bargains?

That's always been my issue, even if I sold and got £150k what do I buy ?
No one else makes a manual NA 500bhp car
Only other car is a Mx5 in manual , NA and RWD ! and I tell you what I keep thinking about buying one now you can move the steering wheel.
I would rather not £155k in a car to be honest or £130k or what every they are, but there is no where to go unless you go Auto and Turbos and massive depreciation any of those 3 don't interest me.
Only car which I would go for and a down grade is the new GT4 if it fixes a few of the older cars issues and is still £70k odd but then fee's up a lot of money, or if the 997.2 GT3 had a lighter clutch and was £10k cheaper I might buy one of those.
As it stands the GT3 has to stay as it's just bloody amazing.

lol true not really cars I would buy, I drove a GT86 it was nasty, but I would own a Mx5
The new MX5 with 185HP and just over a ton and all for £22K makes nonsense of spending big money for a UK road speeds fun car,,You could have an MX5, M2 Comp,Lotus Elise 250Cup, all brand new for £130K..Taffy66 said:

always been my choice of cars, I have had Lotus's for >5 years but been stuck In the Porsche loop for a bit.Bar a swing to Noble which I loved. (best steering car I have owned)
And when I picked up my 987.2 SPyder , it was like owning a working bigger Exige so for the last 7 years the Spyder has stopped my getting a Elise again and I don't ever see me selling that car.
I said if Lotus ever make a charged cooled Exige I'll buy one, so the 410 Exige is my Fav Lotus atm for sure.
But if any one wants one of the best and most fun roads cars at 1/2 the Exige price, BUY that £50k Spdyer at JZM, safe money also.
Nothing new drives like that , all we are getting is faster cars with more automation.
If the new GT4 is any good, I can see myself selling the GT3 and having a GT4 and 410 Exige.

When I sold my GT4 I gave serious consideration to a MX5, I'm still thinking of it.
For smiles per mile in a new car, it can't be beaten, especially compared to a 50k 718!
No doubt there'd be serious options with the spare cash.
I know small and light is good, but the tiny size worries me with the amount of idiots and traffic these days. Anything at all would be over the top of you. Maybe I worry too much!!

I have never fit perfect in them :-( but now you can move the steering wheel, it's tempting as a run about over the Golf. For smiles per mile in a new car, it can't be beaten, especially compared to a 50k 718!

BBR it and it would be a fun little car.
I miss my R as a daily..but 5 years in those and owning the sister car, I needed a change.

Usual bullst trying to talk down prices.
Love the way people always claim cars are available at certain prices but these cars are always poor spec high mileage or damaged repaired.
As ever the best cars always get the best prices. You can always get good money for a good car but not necessarily bad money for a bad car.

Looks like the days of inflated prices on these are over. Although they are listed for sale at premium prices, the reality at the moment is quite different. I was offered today a car with the correct spec (club sport, lift, full leather, manual, PCCBs) 18/18 with 954 miles at 5k behind list. It is at the dealers on an SOR and has not shifted for 2 months. I would imagine, at that price the owner would be expecting to get 10k behind list
I think the reason is that there are simply too many for sale.
OP. Are you able to confirm which car this was?I think the reason is that there are simply too many for sale.

So where is this elusive 128k GT3 then? Its all gone quiet!
Its not the blue Newcastle car ... They own it and it owes them 154k.
It owes them £154K, what are they hoping to sell it for?Its not the blue Newcastle car ... They own it and it owes them 154k.
The only data points I think I’d rely on that are quite recent are that JZM listed two GT3’s at something like a £20k premium in the last month and both sold pretty quickly which I reckon menans they sold for a £15k premium.
RPM have just listed a 4K mile PDK CS car for £148k, no PCCB’s so ideal track spec perhaps.

Every time I have visited an OPC in the last year I’ve seen GT cars of one sort or another “for sale” but not listed anywhere!

Very true. Good OPCs have their ear to the ground and don't need to put all their unicorns on PH or Autotrader. Mine was sold last week and never advertised and took less than a week to find the right buyer.
