They haven't got the best reputation on here. I seem to remember a GT3 with severe issues, but not highlighted on the ad.

Still, this is bit new to have a 'hidden' history...

Yeah, they are mixed reputation at best ... 'North Yorkshire' for you!

Still, it's a brand new car. Can't exactly see it be a multiple write off already ;c)

Nice car the R but really nearly half a mill! The 997.2 sport classic is also nearly £400k but yet again great car but you would have to be insane to pay those prices!! That's a new manual 991.2 gt3 even with overs , a 997.2 gt3rs and gt4 or spyder as a daily all desirable cars to boot!

A few years ago they try to sell me a black 997.1 GT3 that has been severely damaged (but not recorded). After discovering on here about the history and confronting them on it, they continued to deny any previous repairs despite having the car already returned once after a previous buyer discovered the damage shortly after purchase.

Ive also heard from friends (and friends of friends) a few bad stories. Im sure a 'new' 911R will be fine, but I would go in eyes wide open with anything they are selling.

Couldn't agree more. Absolutely ridiculous. When pork release a manual gt3/rs these will collapse! Madness.

I would struggle anyone to Justify an 911R over a McLaren 675LT AND a 997 GT3 RS. You could probably stretch to a 4.0 RS too.

Oh well. Have at you.

I do think prices might correct at some point (across the entire market), but I do not think the 991.2 GT3 will have anything to do with it. One is a limited edition / collector type car and the other one is pretty much a normal production car (even if they are hard to come by in the UK)

I'm certainly not !

If I spent £400K modifying my car then feel free, but I haven't.

I'm curious why you feel it's alright to insult people's intelligence over a £400+k R but not a £400+k 4.0RS. or whatever it takes to buy a 2.7RS for that matter given last I checked even that car was a 911....
