Guy Martin to race this years TT.

Drivetribe have reported that Guy is going to race a Fireblade at this years TT.

I really hope this is true.

Funny how in his latest book Worms to catch he is adamant he had no interest whatever in returning to road racing !!??
As above, I'll believe it when i see it but I can't see even the new Blade would have changed his mind. Money certainly wouldn't.

He can be quite changeable though...

I can not see why it should come as such a surprise to anybody as to an individual with rather a lot going on in their lives, ever making a statement and at a later date, further to a mind change, or a circumstantial shift, something falling through contractually / financially / timing wise, or just a mere change of heart , acting to the contrary .

I for one hope he does compete, as any top calibre racer can only add to the spectacle and of course his rather quirky, but undeniably enigmatic nature, always makes things interesting in the paddock.

If he does , he does, if he doesn't, well, that's up to him isn't it.....

Don't want to rain on your parade but ferries and accommodation can be tight if you are not booked early.

+1. Was disappointed I'd missed the opportunity to see Guy race. Really pleased that's not the case. I just hope he doesn't try to win at all costs and bin it as that would be a real shame.
