Just looking at moving for some dansk sport (not super sound).£595 ECP seem to be the best price. Did you install yourself ? If so, any tips like I'm not sure that the 3 nuts/threads on the back of the fitting plate are going to undo without being sheared. I was considering trying to cut the head off the top of the 2 fixing bolts to allow them to be pulled down and the replacing with the bolt going through from below- why they didn't do it that way is a mystery.idea Would that be feasible ? Cheers

FYI my local indie just fitted my Dansk sport exhaust back boxes, they told me they use oxyacetylene torches to "persuade" the rusted bolts free

Yes, that's exactly how I did mine. I needed to use a Dremel with cutting discs as space is pretty tight but it can be done!

Thanks, did you have enough space for the dremel tool itself or did you use the flexi attachment ? Also did the bolts come down through the sleeve easy enough or did you have to do something to get them down ? Cheers for the reply.

Finally got round to swapping exhaust to dansk sport at the weekend, a lot easier job than I thought really. Just one of the carrier studs sheared when taking off so ground off the remains , put a bolt through and tack welded the head. The exhaust went on quite easily, positioning of the tips seemed to be the most difficult task as the new clamps for the tips were quite thin and did not allow for much rotation on the joint. Sounds good but haven't had chance of road test as yet. Might have a bit of an experiment with the old boxes after seems sorted, perhaps gundo hack idea ??
