Too much green in the yellow, so it's a no from me.

It doesn't look that green in real life. Looks really good in fact in real life, but a Vanq isn't for me...

Those photos don't do the colour justice in the slightest, it's a really nice colour in real life. Those photos make it look like the BMW dehydration yellow or whatever it was called.

Not for me, no element of class showing through there. If I want a bright yellow car I'd buy a Ferrari as it suits it.

Also, the next lucky owner best have very deep pockets as I can't imagine dealers would be offering strong money to buy that back down the road. Still, at the right price it'll shift i'm sure.

I call it "urine metallic" but I'm not sure that this is what BMW calls it...

biggrin - I used to call it "Bile Yellow". Loved the press shots of the E46 M3 in it, but when I went to see it in the flesh was instantly put off, and went for the safety of Titanium Silver.

PS - The official BMW name was Phoenix Yellow.

I'd rather have my CB and the £40k change!

I know different colours are a hot topic on here these days and we should all be daring to follow our hearts and get what we want rather than the safe colours etc. But for me, I like dark grey and black cars. Nothing to do with resale or being a sheep, I just feel more comfortable driving down the road in them as I think they look best and don't draw too much attention that I don't want. People should get what they want and to hell with what other people think etc, but I just prefer Aston's in dark "boring" colours.

Ha Ha I did the same but in the end went for Laguna blue which I liked but everyone else hated.

Following Recession White, does George now have a new rival?

(Not a car that I would buy)

This. Way too pricey.

It's a shame aston owners are so colour sensitive. It makes for a dull range of grey/black cars. Yellow isn't my thing on any car but that actually suits it more than most I've seen - the beautiful vanquish lines really come through.

I don't agree, I don't think owners are too sensitive to colours these days at all (well some are), my point was more I don't like that yellow and I'm not sure many others would at that price point.

Adams V12SM looks amazing in green, Shmee's GT8 looks cracking in blue and orange and the handful of Flugplatz cars out there look great too. I think with the DB11 and also the new Vantage we'll start to see a real mix up on colours which is superb.

As the owner of a bright yellow Aston and having recieved nothing but praise from people with 'class' i feel obliged to categorise you as a clueless clungenugget.

Isn't yours Sunburst Yellow? I think whilst both being yellows they would be viewed differently.

Personally, do not have a problem with either but would never own one in yellow tang. Just personal choice.

Whooaaaa, someones taking things very personally. No need to get all defensive about it. I have a Morning Frost car, if you said you didn't like it I wouldn't slag you off for it. Stay friendly, no need to get personal my friend beer

I wouldn't buy a yellow car regardless of what it was, personal choice, i don't like yellow. I didn't say other people that did were "clueless" for doing so did I. You pay your money you take you choice.

I still stand by what I said though regarding resale, the market is very niche for such vehicles. Maybe when they reach a certain age that then brings them into the reach of more people then it's less of an issue, but I can't see that many people willing to part with nearly two hundred grand for that, although I may be completely wrong. With haggling you could get a new Vanquish S for that, which is clearly where my money would go......in Ming blue biggrin

I actually quite like this car. Would I buy it, no, my main reason being if I were to jump the Vanq interior would need quilted leather seats smile

I don't think it suits the Vanquish very well. I imagine it would look a lot better on a V12V

clueless clungenugget is a term of endearment, we are all friends here. I read it as light-hearted banter.
