April 2017 release for PC and consoles.

Great news, should lend itself well to online tomfoolery. Not been this excited for a game in a while biglaugh

I have been playing the ios version on the phone for a while now, it is highly addictive. Can never tell if the opponents are all real people, but it is damn fun!

I might be sceptical but that speaks volumes for me, 3 months before an alleged release (spring 2017) they should have a good idea of what play looks like frown

How strange. I found a set of original micro machines toys in the house yesterday, and want to get rid. Perhaps I should wait for this to come out before ebaying.

I've occasionally been playing 'toybox turbos' with mates, but although it follows a similar philosophy, it is very much a cheap copy. Will certainly be keeping an eye out for this!

Wait, was this the game where you have to drive a top down view of a car round a dining table having to avoid plates and knives and forks and stuff? I remember playing this on my mate's Atari(?) about 25 years ago eek.

Think it was around 1996. We played it on housemate's megadrive, he had the posh arcade sticks so could be 4 player (2 sharing). Was fking chaos.

That's the one.

Hope it's a faithful updat8ng of that era rather than some 3D rubbish. I played hours and hours and hours of this game in the 90s.

It may have been the second game where the Mega Drive cartridge had extra control slots at the top to add in two more conventional controllers. Micro Machines 2 maybe
