I've seen some beautiful pictures of interiors in luxor beige leather, but Porsche seem to issue a warning about reflection of the dashboard on the windscreen. Has anyone any experience of this?
Thanks

Thumbs up from me. Not had any reflection problems with the two tone. Gratuitous pic added!

Just realised you probably mean the full on all beige interior. Can't help with that one!

I think they have in mind cars where the top of the dash is beige, not black.

Full colour beige or red is a bit too much for me but it's personal preference. Also I prefer steering wheels to be black except on older cars I'd accept wood or grey/white.

I find the Luxor Beige too light. I'd prefer a tan.

Great picture with the black dash, but I like the look of the creamy steering wheel and dash and was wondering about that.
Thanks

It's a very classy combination although all beige (like all red) is neither pleasant or practical as they do cause bad reflections. I would seriously consider this or black / red bi colour if I was in the market for a non GTS model (which needs to keep Alcantara).

I have driven cars with the beige interior and the reflection in the windscreen is quite bad - particularly driving through leafy lanes with sun shining through the canopy. Very easy to miss a cyclist ! Last year, there were also court cases in US (where else) which prompted Poursche to put a statement in sales literature that reflections might be a problem with light interiors!. If you want the beige, my advice would be the two tone option - with black dash.

I had a 996tt with Savanna interior here in Australia and I don't recall it being an issue that was any worse than cars with black dashs.

I have got the older version - sand beige in a 987, and I don't notice reflections most of the time, but in certain lighting conditions it can be quite bad.

Could well believe it. Same 'issue' with the cream coloured dash/cill on the TVR Chimaera. Never liked that colour on the dash for exactly that reason.

I don't entirely agree

I had an ocean blue dash and it was fine

Dash anything other than a very dark colour: don't

Only thing I would point out us that these light interiors mark up and get grubby, very easily.

I have Amber with Agate dash/door tops and at only 13k miles have denim stains on the seats that I just can't get out frown

I think there is actually a warning or 'Notice' on the Porsche configurator or somewhere I have seen about reflections from a beige dashboard!
