991GT3RS. Cross channel ferries

I'm planning on taking my RS across to France in the Summer. I would prefer to use the fast CAT Portsmouth to Cherbourg but want to be sure I can board ok. It's fitted with the axle lift. Does anyone have experience of this route ?

I live in Guernsey in the Channel Islands and use the fast ferry quite regularly. I have a 997.1 Turbo and don't suffer too many dramas with the fast cat. In standard form you might struggle with clearance, but if you have front axle lift you should have no real problems. The boats themselves tend to be more tightly packed than a standard cross channel ferry, but other than than fine.
