Just trashed my front nearside wheel on granite kerbs whilst looking at the fancy houses in a nice village.

Anyone have an idea at how much it'll cost for a new one from VW? The standard 18" ones.

A pricey Sunday drive. Think it's too far gone for a refurb.

Approx £900.00 if the driver who dropped my recent GTI from the dealership. It came up when I was inspecting the car, he said one of his colleagues hit a high curb at speed and buckled the wheel... Feel for you as I'm always taking it so steady when parking, only a month into ownership. :/

900!!!!! Surely not?!

So annoying, haven't kerbed it once and then I go do this.

Going to a wheel refurb place and see what they say. There's a refurbished one on eBay that looks good, that's 300.

It's amazing what the refurbishers can do now so it's well worth having a try first. I had one of mine done after a Western Power van cut me up and forced me me up a kurb. The guys at the local place worked their magic and now you can't see any difference to the other three.

Might be worth looking at a company like this?
