The fact remains that there are a handful of RHD manual Turbo S coupes, and that rarity combined with market hysteria over limited edition Porsches is doing funny things to asking prices.
And before shocked owners pop out of the woodwork accusing me of talking down the market, this is from someone with one of the very last 996 Turbo S manual coupés in the garage, albeit one with 70k on the clock.

My 996 is just about as dirty. I don't use it every day, but I don't shy away from using it for mundane drives in the winter as well as driving for fun. Given that I can't find anything as fun and versatile to replace it with, it would be a crying shame if I had to worry about the cost of every mile in depreciation.

Can't think of many sports cars which can dismiss wintry conditions at warp 9 like a turbo - 10 years old and still drives perfectly with no squeaks or rattles which is pretty amazing
