I thought there were relatively few 991.1 GT3s due to the engine issues and the resulting delays. Would hope that does not happen for the 991.2, so there should be plenty more cars available.

I guess if you are willing to wait for one of the last cars, at which point the "overs" might well be gone, you have a relatively good chance (might have to put in some legwork with a few OPCs though).

We are talking about the UK market here though.

Totally different to rest of Europe.

And I for one like many others wouldn't want a lhd car.

Wouldn't call 332 991.1 GT3s 'loads'....less than ten per OPC.

GT4 numbers in the upper 500s.
Depends ...... only 7 993 RS RHD clubsports ...is few....

The 991.1 GT3 engine issues didn't really have an impact on production numbers and any delayed cars were simply delivered later into early 2015.

Post late Spring cars such as mine were simply stored at the factory awaiting new engines there as opposed to being shipped to the UK for OPC engine swaps.

Might have remembered that wrong then. I thought the numbers were low due to Porsche having to build 700-odd new engines as replacements and therefore built fewer cars than they would have otherwise done. Also thought there are (a lot) fewer gt3 than gt3rs - as it is time limited and the time was shortened due to "re-doing" existing cars

I don't think so tbh, iirc there are about 4000 ish gt3s world wide, which is quite a number of them. production continued well into 2015 as well so a few months of sorting out the initial run of engines ultimately wouldn't really have affected overall numbers by too much.

There seems to be a lot of dispute about RS numbers, personally i reckon 3500-4000 based on what I've heard from a few sources but I've also heard numbers where people seem convinced it's around 3000 to some saying well over 6000....

Still have not seen definite numbers, but a lot of people including some big Porsche dealers have said 6-8 thousand - also looking at the number of cars for sale and the fact that More and more build slots appeared magically for the initially sold out car, I am inclined to believe the higher numbers and therefore assumed fewer GT3s - no proof though.

Only rare truly collectable 991 GT3 is the RSR ...... as Posrche not as competitive in this era , so very few were made ........ less than 20 ...and the factory supported winning/ cars will never be sold ...... so the only model that is possibly impossible to buy ..regardless
