Think guards red looks awesome on 997 911. As time goes on more will seek out non grey, dark blue, black cars to be a bit different and stand out (and my GTS is black BTW) sport exhaust is a nice touch also (just needs the centre silencer doing!)

Hi c4sman, what do you mean re having the central silencer done, is there something to enhance PSE even more? GTS - nice!!

Google Sharkwerks centre silencer bypass. Hayward & Scott also make a similar version which is what I have on mine smile

Now showing as reduced to £35,450 (and under offer) on the dealer's website. http://www.charleshurstgroup.co.uk/used-cars/67429...

Interestingly, the car's wheels in the dealer's website photos are different from the ones shown in the pistonhead ad.

Yes, it's strange, I think on PH it's reduced to 35,450 with the silver multi-spokes and on autotrader at 35,950 with the black sports! I'd go 500 extra for those black rims!

Guards red on any 911 is fabulous. I can't imagine why anybody would think otherwise?

Yes you can make the gen2 cars with PSE sound much better by replacing the centre box as per Shaoxter post. I have sharkwerks but there are now cheaper options that are probably just as good. Shame you missed out on the car but keep hunting. Reckon a base gen2 in a nice colour could be a great thing to own long term. Time for an excuse to post a pic of the GTS biggrin

Apparently the previous owner thought it a good idea to occasionally let the sun in. Of course for me it the added weight and its impact on the c of g means the car is virtually undriveable and cannot go around corners above 3mph without wildly spinning off the road. Just don't get me started on PPDS.
