Loving my graphite blue 991.2 C2...factory ordered and delivered a couple of months ago...but can't stop wondering if I should have ordered black wheels and black badges on the back. It never occurred when i ordered the car, but seeing my colour in the GTS with black wheels....mmmmm. I don't want the car to look over the top/flash but think it might look good, esp as i also have the black glass roof.

So...has anyone had their wheels painted via their OPC shortly after taking delivery of a brand new car? I could go with black or the dark grey, if that's possible. Does anyone know if the process is virtually the same as if it was done in the factory (are the Carrera S wheels originally silver and then painted anyway in the factory). Rough idea of cost would be great but I'm going to make enquiries.

Cheers.

I suspect an OPC route would work out ££££

I'd suggest you could try getting a set of the black centre caps then getting your wheels re-painted to match by a specialist, or how about just buying a complete set of new wheels and then selling your current set?

if you can get a good offer for your barely used ones on eBay then this could be the cheapest/easiest route - have a look at design911.co.uk or teile.com for prices
