Replace Mk7 Golf R with facelift GTI Clubsport?

Hi there

Couple of questions here. Have an R where the lease is up at the end of August. Generally like the car, but would like it to be a bit more focused. Not to the extent of the really hard-core hot hatches (eg Clio 200 Cup I used to run), but a bit more attitude and intensity for want of a better phrase. Would I get that from a GTI Clubsport (not an S - need rear seats etc)?

And second question is whether there is any news on the facelift Clubsport, and when that might be added to the range?

The edition xx (now the club sports) are generally the run out model before a facelift/new car.

E.g. The anniversary cars were all in the last couple of years production of the mk4, the edition 30s the same as were the ed35s

I'd imagine the club sport would not be continued or if it is will be a while yet
