BMW 5 series M Sport 2005

Hi, i have recently purchased a 5 series BMW M Sport 2005 and have a few minor issues which i want to get sorted.

• my rear parking sensors do not work yet the front do, any suggestions?
• my sat nav DVD doesn't show up new roads, can i add an updated disc?
• my 6 disc auto changer doesn't work, it goes through each disc seeming to load but does not play anything, am i missing something or is there a problem?
• my PRO display panel doesn't always load and when it does it can be slow in starting up, why is this slow and why does it not always load up at all?

This generation of 5 had various problems with electrics. Seems like you are having serious electrical issues. I'd take it to a specialist ASAP

Get the wiring checked by a auto electrician if its all four at the rear.

• my sat nav DVD doesn't show up new roads, can i add an updated disc?

Yes just search for bmw navigation maps on ebay and replace the disk in your dvd drive

Are they in the correct format? as the auto changer will not play mp3's and if they are copies try different brand of cds or originals

There was an update available from the dealer which sped things up due to graphics and such slowing things down, enquire at a bmw dealer.
