Fire risk/complience whats needed and how often ?

Been solely running an established business for a year an a half I have never been involved in fire safety etc as my old business partner handled it all .

I want to be sure everyone is safe at work so are not trying to cut corners but I don't trust some of these fire companies, we used a local company before for the simple task of doing the fire extinguisher's each year and it turns out by change that we found out they had not been changing or doing the works correctly....

Any advise welcome I have just re done our pat testing as I seemed to of missed that it was due !

Speak to your local fire station.

We had an inspection from them, every 3 years or so - told us exactly what to do / not do etc.

Very helpful.

(Only issue is the whole truck full arrive so will cost you a few teas)!
