The folding buckets are definitely worth having.
Just a shame with either buckets specced there is no option for stripe delete.

Do you loose the centre dash clock if not specing chrono ?
I think so . I know on a Macan you can order the Compass in the same position which is cheaper, but for the money I'd add the SC

The seat will have a part number, the centre striped cushions will probably have an option for a non striped version. Or else a CXX option is do-able.
The 1st option is probably cheaper.

If mine arrives my favourite current spec is guards red, silver wheels, clubsport and PDK because they're all free of charge which appeals to my Cardi money mentality..Options would be 918 buckets and Pccbs which i love on my GT4,probably front lift,Pdls bi-xenoms,full leather in silver stitching(free..!),red belts and steering wheel marker. Carbon trim at £500 is good value imo. Debating whether or not to spec Bose and chrono pack...
I'm not too sure on Bose either. It wouldn't to be a motorway cruiser for me!

Agreed - I'd be tempted to keep my current seats and ask them to swap them over!

Funny how there's so much negativity around the centre stripe. I love it. But then I am a tart who loves big wings as well...

I like the stripe but I think I would go for the grey rather than red. Add Red belts and a few other bits maybe if I was going for Steel brakes or add silver or maybe even yellow belts if going for PCCB's. Would it be possible to get aftermarket harnesses in Yellow as opposed to the standard red ones?

Thought yours had yellow stitching?

I would probably have the Spyder buckets....never used the seat heaters on the gen 1!

I probably would have done, had that been an option at the time. It never was!

The folding buckets are much more practical if you are using the car for long trips with lots of luggage!

Would this be too much spec for a GT3?

If allocated I am buying it to keep and enjoy

My spec is £123.300 which for a GT3 is enough IMO. if it was a 3RS then a high spec is fine but the 3 is just the bottom rung on the GT ladder although a nice one to have though

Wheel colour? Platinum wheels would be great with that spec. Blacks a departure for you isn't it Phooey?
I think Mexico or riviera would be great on this car.

Great package that the GT4 is, I would say that has to be the bottom rung GT Porsche.

I don't think so....if it's what you want go for it. Personally I think if you want coloured dials etc you should go for it!

Nice spec!

If you love the colour yellow could actually be a good choice on the gen 2....looks like there won't be many about.

Thanks for the replies, I was looking at CWM but there are lots of Gen 1 cars currently for sale in White so I decided to go for a bright colour. I would like PTS (Mexico or Riviera Blue or a bright Green) but I can't see me getting this opportunity as I am not in this allocation so will just be grateful to get a car.

As for spec, I want to buy it for my enjoyment rather than the resale value but hope the spec will attract a future buyer if I ever decide to sell it.
