Looks like it works ; not a fan of the rear air intakes though - anyone seen one in the metal - do they look ok ? smile
Yes, looked really good to my eye, the rear deck and spoiler supports look compact and purposeful. I wish there was an option for the intakes to be carbon.

If i get a confirmed allocation i'm veering towards the flat standard colours namely black, white, red or yellow. The GT3 looks better in the old safe traditional colours including GT silver imo...After studying the spec charts comparing new and old 991GT3s plus 911R i really like the gearing on the new manual GT3..

Any gearing ratios of manual/pdk .2 gt3 to compare with the .1 gt3/r yet?

Because of the new air scoops ?

I am guessing a lot of people will be seeing if they can be painted. Small price to pay if the engine is as good as AP says it is.
Yes I'd prefer carbon scoops but with a July build date I think options like that will come later in the run?

When I spoke to my OPC this week they didn't have their build dates confirmed yet? Would the Porsche owned dealerships get build slots first or am I being paranoid!!!

Paranoid I'm afraid smile my OPC isn't Porshe owned, I'd have thought by now all the first slots have been taken?

I'd agree with that.

All the 2017 cars have been taken I would say that's a given, Round 2 is the key for the people still waiting and as always a extra 100 or so trickle in after that as well. Looking how many 991 RS made it in in the end let alone the 585 GT4's.

This is my thinking (and hope) too. I was told they hoped to hear relatively soon, maybe early/mid summer.

I think it'd be safer to go on the 991.1 GT3 numbers not a different model. They might well have made more RS' to compensate for the engine issues and time spent sorting the 991.1. The GT4 is a different ballgame due to the fact that its not far off half the price.

How many 991.1 RS' were made in the end?

According to howmanyleft 277 sold/registered in the UK.

Roughly 300 991.1 GT3's according to howmanyleft.

I think we'll get somewhere between 300 and 400

I think you're right actually although i would hope for a few more so that people get to experience it. That's not as many 991 RS' as I thought averaging about 7 per dealer.

How many left says 312 991 RS and that's without any q4 2016 cars and the 991 GT3 335.

2017 991.2 GT3 are prob 200 odd cars, so another 200 to come in 2018 plus the extras which happen.

phone call from my OPC today to give me an October slot to what he believes will coincide with the manual production run. He believes PTS window will also be around september so i'm hopeful (if not confident) of getting both PTS and Manual.

Colour choice is personal of course but I wonder if there's any enthusiasm for rhodium silver or sapphire blue out there? I don't want red - I have 3 red cars already and black is impossible to keep clean. White, of course and GT Silver. My GT3 will be replacing an aqua blue 997.2 turbo which I have been happy with.

The GT3 will look stunning in Sapphire Blue, I would have been tempted to order it myself (and I have a SB GT4).

I had a Rhodium 997 GTS, nice but never really polished up well, would not go for it again.
