Porsche911R :- Great colour combo. How did you specify the black mirrors?? OPC said they had to be a dealer organized paint job not a factory fit. Can you assist??
Carbon option, not painted.

Brilliant - cheers for posting link!

Some great images of the GT3 in Guards red - just wish in real life it was as 'red'.

Riviera any day of the week. Mexico is lovely too. Miami is not doing it for me
Miami is too washed out/pale. Looks rather "cheap" as a result.
Not if you add Gulf livery to it biggrin
Well if you're 17 it maybe cool, otherwise it's for racecars only .....

As for the previous comments about Voodoo, Mexico etc yes

Miami centre, Riviera left, Mexico right.

Imo colours work better on different models and we all see colours differently for example the racing yellow works sort of ok for me on the gt3 but i saw a 981 spyder in said yellow the other day and to me it looked awful! If I ever got the chance on a new gt3 I think I would go guards red as the colour really suits the car but a safe all round colour would be white. As for the 3 blues not a fan of blue but the riveria looks best in my eyes , Miami is just so fiat 500!

Funnily enough one of the Porsche PTS colours is actually a Fiat 500 colour! Grigio Campovolo

Miami wouldn't be my first choice but it seems rather pointless comparing it to unavailable blues?

PTS - any thoughts on when the window is likely to be open? Also, is it something where an OPC controls who orders at the right time or is it a lottery where you just might be lucky?

Seen both GT3 and RS in Voodoo blue in the metal and that would be my perfect colour

Voodoo is sensational!
When I ordered Voodoo on the GT3 I had never seen it in the flesh. There were simply no cars around with that colour and I had to go with a picture of a 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 and another rubbish one of a boxster ordered by a Scottish OPC.

I can tell you that when they were about to take the drape off the car in the showroom I was quite apprehensive. :-)

But what a colour. Shame that I advertised it so much as to make it popular now.. kinda ruins it ;-)

Your choice of brakes is driven by the colour of the car ?!

RED !!! I've gone G/Red with all possible "bits" black. Wheels, mirrors, door handles, tinted rear screen. Hope for Aug delivery!!! Will look amazing I am sure.

Both silver and red are traditional GT colours which is a plus.

Trouble is with red imo everything normally ends up red and it can be a bit too much. Really need red stitching and if you go steels red calipers too. Still unclear whether the hideous GT3 seat stripes can be deleted....if not it platinum stitching it would have to be which effectively rules out a red car for, at least. Also its a large car for red and imo suits the GT4 better (mines red!).

Othe pluses with red its a free colour and also touches up (paint!) very well unlike silver which is a pain to match. Silver could be a touch bland for the GT3 for some.

Nice contrast with silver and red stitching especially if carbon is matched with the Spyder buckets carbon finishes.

Also GT silver is great value at £700 ish as same price as standard metallics unlike the gen 1 which was a lot more as an optional extra.

Likely to be similar popularity on both colours.

I would have never considered a Red car but I have to say the launch car looks epic. To be fair though if I was lucky enough to get an allocation then the body colour would definitely influence my brake choice. Red with Yellow calipers would do my head in but I would certainly prefer PCCB's so would probably base my body colour choice on that, hey-ho, each to their own.

By coincidence also my two top colours if i'm one of the chosen few, picking up a new 991.2GTS coupe in May in GT silver so will see how i get on with it before making my final colour choice on the GT3...Without spending over £2.5K on special colours these two colours along with plain white will be the most popular colours on the GT3 imo...
So to summarise both are good colours to go for....

No PCCB's on my spec, just hadn't changed the GT Silver cars brakes

Just wanted opinions on body colour only
If you go Silver I personally think you go Black Lights and Wheels for contrast.

The Guards Red does look great, launch colours always have a draw and it's an iconic 911 colour.
