Who gets the opportunity to buy one of these and fits full leather sport seats, no chrono and that horrible side graphic?

Plus points for the flywheel however.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2016-Porsche-911-R-Petro...

Cool 1 million for a 280m car.

What about the clear rear lights, my pet hate.

Horrid car, wouldn't give it house room.

Forgot to even mention those! Just doesn't work...

Original owner should be blacklisted for his seat selection alone!

I agree.

The 'houndstooth' seats are one of the 'R's nicest details.

Personally not keen on stripes of any, and particularly dislike door stripes, and those tacky little decals are no better.

Let's assume 991.2 GT3s are going to be flipped at, say, £150k - then I'd say an 'R' should be worth, what, £300k max?

991.2's will be flipped for around £180k I reckon. List will be around £135k for a good spec

That, good sir, is deeply, deeply impressive. 4 posts and you managed to turn a thread on questionable R options into a value thread thumbup

So as we're talking values ;

Swap comfortable leather armchairs for custom trimmed 997 GT2 folding carbon buckets £10k tops (and probably a couple of £k less)

Replace rear lights with those of your choice. What ? a grand tops ?

Remove those door stickers. Five minutes with hairdryer and a quick polish.

Job, jobbed and all for less than £10k I reckon. Bargain.

When would sir like it delivered ? cool

Looks like they will be RS money I.e. £200k for the right specs.

Don't forget the 991.1 was up at £175 k summer 2015.

And when care is put into the specification, great things happen. Unotaz's car from his post: http://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-gt3rs-and-911r/...

Chrono does nothing at all on an R, other than put a clock on the dash.

Detail on that is incredible, as is the bill! Very very nicely done!

Very well, have just chosen which tacky stripes to put on it, (painted and lacquered, so hairdryer-proof). Went to visit last week as they had made various colours of stickers so I could see them on the car. It's about 10 days away from completion.
No clock!

Talking specs......

I'm surprised by the quantity of R's specced like Carrera S's (i.e PCM, cruise, leather, a/c, fancy lights).

For me i'd follow the princple of the car and leave most of those things out. Shame.

To me its a bit like asking the question 'worst looking female sports illustrated model ever?' smile

The price? probably a money laundering special, a bit like the Nintendo Switch consoles that are also listed for the same price wink

Chrono?

That IMHO is the most useless option. It gets you a dash wart and nobody serious about tracking the car would use one
