Quite simply put, how can i get rid of this easily from a Win10 install? can you download the OS already done? a programme? device? anything at all......

i'm not the most computer-literate of people and really cant manage the way i'm finding online ( i dont read code) so in order to Shut the OH up and the kids about how slow its becoming i wanted to start with this.

It's only a 120gb SSD in the computer now as it's barley used anyway but fancied trying it out.

Just download the installer from Microsoft directly. Guaranteed bloat free.

If it is just becoming slow through use then you can do a refresh from "Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Reset PC"

You do not actually have any "Bloatware" that you haven't installed yourself on it anyway...

Windows 10 LTSB comes without the bloat - it's the version intended for business (assuming you mean Windows 10 CB version bloat like Mail, Cortana, App store etc?)
There's plenty of scripts floating around for removing the bloat in other versions of Windows

Install Ccleaner to clean up all the temp stuff and then uninstall all the microsoft addons like 3d builder and xbox etc

Then go to Settings > Privacy > Background apps and turn them all off.

Then defragment the drive.

There are many more things but these will give you a start.

Never defrag an SSD, it's one of the best ways to shorten the life. It should trim itself and won't usually need any intervention.

On an SSD? How's that going to help?

Standard Windows 10 installs do have a fair amount of stuff you term 'bloatware' but a: most of it's simply uninstallable from the usual control panel, and b: none of it (to the best of my knowledge) impacts the speed of your system.

First thing to try is uninstalling any third-party AV/firewall software and just use Microsoft Defender.

Not removal as such but stops a lot of the data that gets sent without you really knowing:

And how big is the overlap between people paranoid enough to want to turn all that off, and people stupid enough to run an executable from a random site on the internet?

Oh, yeah. Forget I asked.

OP, Settings | Privacy lets you turn off most of this stuff, and anyway MS collects less than most people willingly type into Facebook.

Point of order, LTSB is not intended for business, it's intended for business application devices that are unable to be managed effectively, i.e. tool control machines, or Air Traffic Control workstations, not just folks who cannot be bothered keeping stuff up to date.

just my 2pence. Windows is on a slippery slope with their updates. I am kinda fussy about what is on my computer, hence disabling all the telemtry and data (that windows lets you turn off). With most updates the settings get reset and some other apps installed that i didnt agreed to.

I know its not bloatware as such but the advert for One drive when i opened file explorer the other week did not impress me. And the peer to peer download option so other people download the update from you kinda like a torrent is not nice. Why should i pay for data for them to use it. you get the idea.

If you are bothered about this sort of stuff i recomend downloading spybot anti-beacon. Its well known and nothing bad hiding in it but it stop pretty much all of the data being sent back to microsoft with 1 click. Again microsoft may update that somehow works around it, they are good at it.

I am quite surprised how many more tracking cookies I seem to pick up on Win 10 than I did on Win 7

I run superantispyware every month and this time it found over 1400 tracking cookies, the most I have ever seen, but not by much. Since Win 10, it is regularly over 1000. Previously, in Win 7, 200 would have been regarded (by me) as high

Cookies aren't anything to do with W10 though. They're placed by sites you visit.

Sites are tracking more and more so protecting yourself against it becomes more important if you don't want to be followed around the internet...

Could there have been some anti cookie setting that I (accidentally) had in W7 that I haven't turned on in W10?

Generally I use chrome

No.

And Chrome collects quite a bit of data about you too. And Google do monetize it.
