Best vehicle for band tour?!

Little help from the PH massive - band is going on a week tour/holiday out to Germany in the summer. We need to take most backline so I'm looking at vehicle rental options here then getting the Ferry and driving. Specifically we're taking a Marshall stack, smaller combi amp, a bass head and a little compact drumkit, four people plus luggage.
I'm thinking the largest 7 seater (pretty much listed as VW Sharan on every site) will probably manage it, but any creative ideas on other options? Would a zafira sized thing cope - they're a little cheaper? Or anyone aware of any 4 seater vans?

Good thinking, almost perfect vehicle - found one for hire in Brighton (a 6 seat Kombi with European hire) but it is several hundred quid more than a Sharan.ETA Totally forgot about crewcab vans - found some promising Transit crewcabs for hire at reasonable prices - thanks for the reminder!
