Need help and advice. I own a 2006 V8 Vantage (28k miles). Immediately after its annual service, I noticed that the driver's side seat adjustment controls no longer function. It will not go forward or back, up or down, and the seat will not incline. Interestingly, the lumbar control and heater still function. I've checked the associated fuses and they are good and the passenger seat functions normally. I cannot see sufficiently under the driver's seat to determine if a wire or connection is loose. Fortunately, the seat is stuck very close to my normal driver's position so it's not a crisis, but still frustrating. Apart from the fact that my Aston Martin dealer's technician missed it, I'm wondering if something done during the service might have caused the issue. The battery/starter functions normally. Any ideas?

Could try disconnecting battery negative terminal for a couple of minutes? Might re-boot seat control?

Roughrider,

Thanks. I have seen a thread a thread on 6Speed Online that suggest disconnecting the battery terminal. Its advice seems more appropriate for cars with the seat memory option. Am I reading that right? My car is not equipped with that feature. For fear of making things worse electronically, I'm also reluctant to fiddle around with or disconnect the battery. Perhaps the best thing is simply to return to the dealership and hope the fix will be relatively simple for a trained technician
