Thanks for the info. That’s a bit annoying. Wish there was a way to overcome this. I tried asking on Rennlist and someone suggested trying it in “individual mode” and to have the exhaust on and blip off. Will try that at weekend but pretty sure it didn’t work in sport (or normal) so not sure it will…..
Let us know. Also try with everything off. At least we’re allowed to turn the bloody auto-blip off now.
No joy. Same in all modes.
I wonder if this would fix it….was mentioned on another thread. But exhaust then always on.

Or is the blip it to do with the sound piping into the cabin…..
Who knows.

The valve always open is a good idea. I wonder if this would fix it….was mentioned on another thread. But exhaust then always on.

It’ll just get rid of the EU regulated drive by valve closed parts of the rev range.
No ecu tampering as it’s downstream.
The issue is partly cured by that.
The other issue is ecu related, as I think the manual blip is throttle comfort mode!

Promise you not a scam! It's me!It might look confusing but I just use Paypal to collect orders and it's got a fixed price for shipping so I created two 'products' - one for UK shipping (cheaper) and one for international. It's the same kit, just different shipping prices. One of my first orders was west coast US ...
Hers the info

Mines supposedly ok, despite the rear view mirror bonding having failed, which requires a new screen under warranty….. hmm

Some possibly controversial T opinions after a recent drive. And these are just my thoughts, aware other opinions are available!
I’m not loving it.
Positives
Brakes are amazing
Sound is amazing
Sharpness of the steering is amazing
Handling is amazing
Bose decent
Negatives, and these are becoming a deal breaker for me.
Suspension is way too firm for Scottish rough, bumpy, potholed roads. The wheel can get tugged from your hand and the car can dart in a different direction and get deflected. Needs a firm grab to bring it back on line. It just feels like there is almost no suspension travel and it’s almost travelling on its bump stops. Aware it’s a sports car, and the ride height does look good, but I think they have overdone it for UK roads.
Linked to this, the interior plastics and fixtures and fittings can’t cope with this rigidity, and they creak and groan and buzz from many places. Dependant on road surface and engine load it buzzes and vibrates to a level I struggle with, and yes dealer has tried to look at this and has come to the conclusion it’s effectively a characteristic. Tried another and it was similar.
RWD - it just can’t put its power down. This is more to do with powerful RWD cars in general, if anything the T is better than most with the weight of the engine giving better traction, certainly it’s much better than a previous 350Z and E92 M3. On a dry straight road its grip is amazing and with higher outside temperatures I am sure it would be better. But that opportunity doesn’t present itself that often up here, so 90% of the time it’s a touch frustrating. A quick blast out of a junction or a roundabout just isn’t an option, and leaves being schooled by a Golf tdi, and at higher speeds feels like it could take a nasty step out that’s too severe to catch. In the less than ideal conditions it always feels like it’s about to bite.
Maybe an M4 xdrive would have suited me better, or a C4S possibly a C4GTS, although that does have the stiff suspension. What makes this worse is a 6 month old one of them is now around what I paid for this.
Mmm, to be continued…..
Just a quick update on this to close the chapter!I’m not loving it.

Its gone.
It actually went end of January but I wanted to wait until it was sold as I didn’t want to taint anyone’s opinion if they were looking to purchase it, the below isn’t the cars fault, it’s probably more mine! Noted it has taken them 4 months to sell it.
I can’t stress highly enough these are just my personal opinions and I am very aware that what I viewed as flaws would be what might make it amazing for another, so a huge caveat that this is all just my feelings and very much down to personal preferences. I got replies the last time countering most of my gripes, I understand you feel differently, that’s a good thing!
I just though it worth voicing my thoughts for anyone reading the thread considering a purchase, to give a bit of balance, as a thread full of owners will understandably read a touch one sided.
It shocked me how hardcore it was for a “normal”ish 911 model. I felt it really unrefined and uncivilised.
I go into a bit more detail in my quoted post, but in summary -
Too firm.
Too much cabin noise.
Cheap interior plastics which creaked from everywhere.
Lack of ability to put its power down in inclement weather.
And I’m going to add another – savage depreciation, (in the £30k 6 months region), and that’s before a .2 appears.
So if anyone wants to purchase some, unmarked very nearly new coloured crest centre caps or the official trickle charger, they might be listed on a well-known used platform!
All the best and over and out!

It's got 380bhp and it's 2wd, for sure you need to modulate the throttle in the wet..... nobody ever said a lotus carlton was disappointing as it struggled to put all-powerful down in the wet- this entry level 911 has more power.
Many were brought originally at circa £100-102k - some of those cars are now being retailed at £96-99k, there's only one at £94k - that's not a 30k drop - more like 15%.
Name another 100k performance car that's dropped less - I'll show you the used main dealer v8 F Type I just paid 50% of list for with 4.5k miles showing.
Andrew Frankels test in The Intercooler is more nuanced,

Not sure how to respond to this, it comes across a bit unnecessarily rude?Sour grapes in what context, with what motive, angle or agenda, or point to prove do you think I have?

Did own, fairly clear from my post, no?992 Carrera T PDK, 2024 model year, lightly optioned

I kept my post factual, those are shortcomings I felt the car had, I felt I couldn't have been clearer that it is my opinion and that yours may differ.bennno said:

£115,248 list July 2023, £87,000 trade January 2024, OPC listed for £99,995. I didn't make that up, I was giving my exact situation, other combinations as you say are available.bennno said:

So that’s good a situation because other situations are worse. Potentially yes, that is an alternative way of looking at it, maybe a touch man maths mind.bennno said:

Indeed it is, he is a motoring journalist, but what it lacks is actual money where your mouth is ownership experience, which to be fair mine is filled with!Joscal said:

Curiously got the better of me over lunch and I skipped to the end.
The TLDR I took from it was they thought the 991.2 and 992.1 T's were both great!
I sincerely hope Youtube doesnt recommend any more of their videos to me now though!
