Looking for some advice for conditioning the battery.
I have a CTEK 12v battery charger (Multi XS 3600 model), can I use this for periods of non use? I use to use it on my Vantage but been advised by my OPC I can only use the Porsche one as it has been tested by them? Doesn’t seem right to me.
I believe I can use what I have?
Thanks in advance.

I don't see why you can't. How do you connect it to the car. Via the cigarette lighter socket or directly on to the battery?

Cigarette lighter. I’m sure I read somewhere that after plugging it in the car needs to be locked or the cigarette lighter circuit remains inactive?

The XS3600 has AGM charging and for up to 120Ah batteries so no reason why it would not be suitable.

You may find it better to attach to the positive post of the battery and to the negative earth point (see handbook) with a suitable CTEK cable as whether cigarette lighter connections work at all times seems to be variable in people's experiences.
