As per the title. I notice that when the Sports Chrono Pack is fitted you get a button on the centre console with the two tailpipes image, but my understanding is that just makes the standard exhaust a little louder, correct?

If I am correct with the above, then how would one know if a PSE has been fitted? With the 996 you could tell by the button, the 997 you could tell by the shape of the inner tailpipe, so I'm just a little clueless with the 991!

Thanks!

No. That button indicates that the sports exhaust is fitted.

Oh I see, ok thanks for the clarification. I'd read contrary on a Porsche forum so I wasn't sure.

Sports Chrono Plus = clock on dash and Sport/Sport Plus buttons
PSE = tailpipes button

Dunno which forum you got your info from, but that's pretty common knowledge!
