GT3 prices going up

For those who have recently changed from 991.2 GT3 to the 992 what would you say is the approx cost to change, any change from £50k?
Just done the upgrade but the variables in both the part ex and new car are massive but as a rough ballpark ......... All depends what spec, age and mileage your after. You could probably get a launch year car with a few miles on and reasonable spec for a suitably low mileage 991.2 GT3 + 50 bags. If your looking at a 2022 club sport onwards then you'll need more that £50k + a nice example 991.2 GT3

As a follow up question to the above, does anyone know typical dealer margins on 991s? For example, if your car were to be retailed by the dealer for say £130k, what would their part ex bid be for the same car? £115k?
Again , as a rough ballpark and you can read into this as much as you like but mine (991.2 cs) went up for £10k more than I got for it at an independant retailer......... a mates car which was the same spec went up for £20k more and sold in 3 hours also at an inde. Both cars were under Porsche warranty so no come backs to the selling garage, a quick service , new tyres and hey presto ! An OPC would like to see nearer £20k out of the deal as their overheads are loads more.Shanksy87 said:

Porsche GB used to work on a £12-£15k margin on used cars. This was 10 years ago, so it may well have changed. Thanks for the responses Far Cough, really interesting. I bought a 991.2 last summer and love it to bits, I don’t think I’d ever sell it but you never know. My problem is also that I don’t want the club sport - sofas and no roll cage for me, but if the right touring came along I’d be interested for sure.

Thanks for the information, gents. I appreciate it's variable but sounds like £15k'ish is a reasonable bet, or perhaps a target to push for.
Other factors will come into play, current condition, when it’s due a service, tyres, what model how many the dealer group has in stock. They used to want 15k profit out of a Cayenne/ Macan years ago, wouldn’t shock me if they wanted a lot more profit nowadays for porsche 991 GT car.
If the trade bid isn’t what you want pop an advert on piston heads at a sensible price above what they have offered you and other trade buyers will normally contact you. If you put it up for to much the phone won’t ring.
