Must say, love the carbon but the painted console did cheery up the cabin somewhat ..

Think in the 997 GT cars one could chose various seat options. You see lots 997 GT2 RS with the leather folding buckets ?? Agree, nomex far comfier surface to work from

And talking of wear items. God help you if your carbon gear knob delaminates. They are mental money and near enough unavailable. Even that little gear top insert, which does wear/fade, is near impossible to source. Luckily I had a pal with more interesting new/old parts than Porsche who had one !!

Yes I have one! The only part thats started to look a little tired is the grey painted part on top which I would like to replace! If you have any leads...Pm

136+fees and 3 hours to go! Already more than I would have paid for a colour but I do totally understand - probably never get the opportunity to buy a RB car in this condition ever again.

I understand what your saying but I’ve always positively campaigned this particular car as a stand out. It’s not just the colour, factory first paint & the one off spec - it’s the condition. You have got to always get underneath to assess and determine if it’s been correctly loved !

Probably bought buy a big hitter collector to be locked away and never seen again.

Coincidentally, Phil Morrison posted a new Driftworks video yesterday in which he confirmed that his Riviera 997 failed to sell when he advertised it last summer so he is keeping it, and has sold his 992 GT3 instead.

I believe Dk sold one for similar money not that long ago.

It is the press car, i owned it late 2013 to late 2017. Done very few miles since I sold it, went into a collection.
