I would happily buy on condition and as long as the price reflects the current market. I’ve never been one to rush, let’s see what becomes available, I’m going to go up and look at the black car a jzm but concerned it doesn’t have lift.
Ideally the car would have buckets and lift as a minimum.
Seems a good deal to me that car though I don’t think it has any options other than the clubsport pack and chrono? Super low miles though!Ideally the car would have buckets and lift as a minimum.

As nice as the rb car Is if I had that type of money (which I dont) id spend the extra on the grey gt3 rs that has porsche warranty on it until feb 2025. That looks more appealing to me but as ever we r all different!!
100% Was thinking this myself, stunning thing. And if you're really into watching your cars make money as opposed to driving them, the RS will almost certainly be worth more in years to come. Orange Blackbird said:
Colour is lovely but car is £20k more than many other cars with lower owners, mileage and modifications. I have been looking for a GT3 for a few months and the prices confuse me. Visited JZM and had a good chat with Russ and a good look at the 3 997 GT3s in stock. The white one had the best spec and has some nice mods, the black one was basic, very low miles and not sure I liked it in black. The red one was again basic spec but not sure about red from a resale perspective? RPM had a blue one that has just sold and based on this Riviera Blue one it seems like it was a bit of a bargain as only 1 owner from new?
Will keep looking. Maybe the right one at the right price will turn up.

I think red is one of if not the best colours for a 997.2 GT3 - just works really well. Then again i like 991.1 GT3s in white which not many seem to either... Will keep looking. Maybe the right one at the right price will turn up.

Didn’t the press car have ceramics?
According to NXI who said "Pretty sure it wasn't that car. AIUI, there are 4 Riviera cars; 2 steel & 2 PCCB - mine was a steel car and the press cars are usually PCCB " apparently so.In which case of the 4 , 3 had steels ( mine ,Jon's and NXI /Phil's ) the Press on ceramics with the other PCCB one which makes...5.
But as only 4 of them I'm getting confused !

Makes sense to me, I thought the car currently for sale was Jonny old car. If it isn’t there does appear to be more than 4.
Jonny's is in a collection as he said - actually I think we both said that,as is my old one. Both had farcically low mileage on when sold and both were in original as supplied condition with full histories and no mods.
NXI's /Phil's therefore cannot be one of these but could conceivably be the Press car ( ignoring whether or not that originally had ceramics ) or its the 3rd production car which plus the Press car then makes 4.

The press car had ceramics, i was watching a YouTube video of it a few days ago.
Loving the debate btw.
Assuming Phil and NXI between them didn’t buy the press car and didn’t convert it to steel brakes then it’s not the press car so the answer remains 4 in total with 3 of those having steel and 1 ceramics. Loving the debate btw.
This tallies with both the RG and PD adverts and funnily enough Phil’s own advert if you exclude the press car.
None of which really matters of course !
Ah yes the Riviera press car....the one that got away. It was listed on Christmas Eve 2013. I was at their door the minute Glasgow OPC opened on Boxing day and put my deposit down. Sadly being self employed and at that time of year I ran out of time to get my finances in order and I had to let it go. It went to a collector who was next in the long que wanting it. He had it for the next 8 years and it’s now still in Scotland in the hands of another collector. It was immaculate and still is. Even the ceramics were perfect.
Well, at least I can say I’ve driven it
