Although the last 993 to come off the standard production line was a blue Carrera sold to Jerry Seinfeld, this is THE LAST Air Cooled Porsche to leave the factory as a Special Order.

If that is worth £1.5m .... what would the prototype 993RS complete with experimental log-book recording drivers names, project, cost centre, mileage, destination, consumables added ... and each drivers signature (reading like a who's who) ... be worth now ?

(90,000 miles, red, RHD, and provenance ... with vin ending 0009 and all original panels ... but full respray. The original engine was removed and a new one fitted on collection by Fred Hampton from Stuttgart ... Porsche kept that bit ! Fully documented.)

P.S. I no longer own it, life is not a museum ....

I know someone who has the last 993 to have the last pretzel eaten in it whilst the guy was wearing the last pair of jeans to be ironed.

Lol, This ridiculous "last of" nonsense is just a porsche thing right? Can't think of another brand that gets a hard on over the last blah blah.

Yes you are back ... my mother always told me that if you "one" couldn't think of anything useful to say, then it was better to say nothing at-all.

You appear to be rather good at taking away rather than adding to the conversation, but maybe it's just in the way that you do it ?

Opinion noted ...

Pretty cool thing but definitely don’t think it carries that sort of premium.

Love the turbo allows with silver lip!

Were the bells and rotors a thing on the turbo cars, never looked closely before.

That's a stunning car and so it should be for 1.5m.

That is lovely and only about 20 mins from me although its not a place you can rock up to and wander around. I bought a Touareg from Bramshaw a few years ago, really nice people to deal with.

Hopefully worth the space on this post ... nice as it is I can't personally understand the asking price for the last 993, but I know what I sold the development 993RS for ( some years ago !).

“Last to leave the factory because it spent six months having a load of special wishes modifications” seems like a fairly spurious way to add £1mil to a cars value.

You’d think a car like that would normally be auctioned….you could imagine big US collectors getting pretty frothy about it but I guess the auction houses have a very different idea of its value.

The Seinfeld car has the title of being the last air cooled 911…I don’t think anything else really matters if I am honest.

Speculation. This stuff is a bit like bitcoin now. Get out and drive the thing. Seinfeld car, that bitsa rs, they're just cars. Use them.

But values and the pearl clutchers drive prices up to the point where some fool is left holding the bag. Like the pre war toot no one but museums want.

£1.5m is a joke. So what if it's the last. It's a low miles 993 turbo and that's it
