No problems with the folding seats, no complaints from passengers, haven't tried the LWBs

A number of 918 owners have complained about the LWBs being uncomfortable over long journeys. I just want to know if they are fat or whether it is a genuine complaint?

Out of curiosity, anyone know how many 977 Spyders were made and how many in the UK?

Thanks for that - best video I've seen showing that the roof is a lot less faff than the 987. Excited for this car!

Yes. You could really summarise it as...

Release catch, release fins, fold roof into boot, shut flaps.

Or

Lift roof from boot, attach fins, activate catch.

Stunning guards red boxster. Glad I have replaced the red painted interior with aluminum though as it's a bit much!

This has been discussed on the GT4 thread.....many saying the p11 lw buckets needed extra padding and were generally uncomfortable compared to the po3 old style GT2 buckets which could well be slightly wider.

The 'old' buckets are still leather AND alcantara. You can see them in some of the pictures of Maria S in the blue Spyder.

Do we think the launch of the new spyder will have any affect on prices of 987 spyder?

Or is it a limited run so rare enough not to be affected?

yep they will go up :-)

different cars, so no affect on price's, looks at 996GT3 over 997 Gt3 and Ferrari 355 over Ferrari 360.

Two quite different cars now imo.

Interesting that the 918 P11 buckets came with extra options for 'extra padding' and 'seat heating', though these are not available for the Spyder / GT4.
