Just go anyway.....after all it is free.....My 'Spyder' PEC drive was arranged for last week but as there was no car I booked a 911 4.0 RS instead.....interesting and great fun.

Have booked again for early September and if the Spyder is still absent will drive something else 'interesting' until it appears.

you are the customer. Tell them when you want to pick it up. Back in 1997 when I bought one of the first Boxsters, I specified I wanted it on 1 August ( when reg changed back in the day!) and dealer sat on the car for 6 weeksfor me.

Just called PEC and they have told me that their Spyder arrived yesterday, is right-hand-drive, but the person I spoke to did not know the colour.

Not me have copied from PCGB forum
I have driven it. On road and around handling track, only one word to descibe it and that is, excellent.
The spyder at PEC is high spec, GT silver with classic interior.
Will post some photos when get back home.

Had my PDE drive today for several hours.

I had hoped the Spyder woukd combine the best of my 987 Spyder with the best of my 981 Boxster, but it does far more than that.
