Don't do it, absolute sh!te, seen mates suffer from falling for this service/product. For the money, get a professional detailer to spend a few days protecting it.

Porsche say £2k miles, but on track with Pirelli's and no camber you might get 4 laps in before you melt the tyres edges.

Not sure I'm that patient - is the boxster known for lunching tyres? The chap at Porsche experience pointed to a fair bit of negative camber on the rear of their car - how does it compare to GT4?

the whole 987 and 981 cars don't track well, as you cannot adjust the front camber more than -1, track work needing -2 for ok use and really -2.5 to track well.

The GT4 you can add shims to get camber ok (as it has a GT3 front end)for track work and the 1st Cayman/Boxster ever made with this adjustment. EVERY other model ever made will kill tyres unless you buy after market parts.

I do track my Spyder, but is has a range of track parts fitted to it to allow you to pedal on a bit.

Every car you can take on the track, it's just frustrating to take a car on track if you can drive ok, it just understeers like a boat and wears out the outter edges in a few laps.
of course you can track anything with any settings, it's just not fun imo.

My Porsche centre just called to say only seats available were the normal Boxster ones, I told them I did not want these, not worried about the wait just not having them as I have ordered the 918 style seats, at worse I will take the sports buckets.

Not happy frown

you cannot magic camber lol, you need to buy GT4 parts or after market bits.

you can always sell it at £15k overs and buy a proper track car :-)

or buy some aftermarket bits to allow a nicer set up for track, it seems the latter is not a done thing in the UK though which I find odd.

Be a nice thing to track with a good setup.

As said above I will create a package, it will include parts required.

I do track and race cars for a living, can't see it being a huge problem smile

there are items available already

stage 1 kit, with some GT3/RSS/Elephant LCA would do it.

or stage 2 with some RSS front LCA
