I notice on a lot of forums people mentioning Viper Green and the list above some have ordered.
I always wonder do they really want Viper Green or did they want the 'Green' from the GT3 RS 997. A lot of people seem to think its the same when its completely different side by side.
As you were...sorry just a random thought came to mind.
I was showing someone different Porsche colours and did a Google (other search engines are available) search for Viper Green and the variation was quite wide. I'm guessing the 'Green' on the GT3 is the very bright- almost pea -green and that Viper Green is darker. The one I like the other I'm not sure I could live with.I always wonder do they really want Viper Green or did they want the 'Green' from the GT3 RS 997. Saw my first Spyder on the road in the City the other week - looked great. However I think that it would look better with the 987 side stripes.
Whether it is worth double the 987 is a difficult question. It will be interesting to see how the respective models fare over the next few years.

Mine arrived today (on a trailer with GT4s). Got a personal video from the Sales Person who went out and videoed it on the trailer! Thats good customer service. Might pop and see it on Saturday and take some pictures (Rhodium with Silver Wheels).
Looking forward to seeing that combo - should be great. Do like rhodium! It's a good point made on the colours, and it highlights some of the challenges experienced with the PTS process.
I decided I wanted green a while back, and my dealer has been most helpful (unlike Porsche Exclusive in Germany unfortunately).
My shortlist was Green (used to be called GT Green), Signal Green and Viper Green. It was still a leap of faith, but recently my dealer has taken in a Cayman in Viper, so I had chance to take a look and it is exactly what I wanted (not that I could change it at this point anyway!).
Roll on 19th Feb when it leaves the factory😃

Is it a 'standard' Cayman they have taken in? Is it on the website anywhere (Approved Used)?I decided I wanted green a while back, and my dealer has been most helpful (unlike Porsche Exclusive in Germany unfortunately).
