Shame the configurator is no longer available this is my best guess from memory but if I've missed anything obvious please shout out!

White or GT

Platinum or black wheels

Steel or carbon brakes

Buckets either one don't mind

Leather with contrast stitching

Dual AC

Auto dimming lights

Carbon interior

Wind deflector

CD-R+

Mobile prep
Can I suggest carbon backed folding buckets as these can be heated - tres important in a soft top .

Nice vid I bumped into today :

It is on the configurator.

Select 718 base model. Then select models (top left), you should have a Boxster Spyder option?

That's why I went with them over the LWB option.

I'm on my phone and it's only giving me the option of 718 or 718s

I'm easy come heated seats or not, have them in both my other cars but don't use them not a fan of beaty swollocks, wife loves them however.... Heated seats that is!

From the 718 build page if you hover over the models pull down (top left), you should see all the possible model build options, including Spyder.

Lateral thinking I just abused your spec link smile

Here's mine http://www.porsche-code.com/PG2PW4L2

Think PCCB's on the Spyder will be quite rare.... Wish I had spec'd them on the GT4!

Does it not have the nil cost CDR option?

They must have forgotten to tick the box! I only realised on Friday that if you didn't tick the net wind deflector option you wouldn't get one at all. I just assumed that there was a clear perspex type one as standard!
I got my Perspex deflector from USA I prefer it to the mesh

I actually selected the net option when I thought it came as standard with perspex. Didn't really have a preference but I would have been disappointed if it had turned up without a deflector of any description.

I know it's the PCCB's if I ditched those and changed the stitching to red (obviously) it's a nicely spec'd car without being over the top!

Included heated seats and folding buckets - thinking about the wife.... http://www.porsche-code.com/PG1J4MG4

I should have jumped on the Romans car earlier.... Took me longer than I thought to convince the commander in chief!

That would look fantastic. My preference is for the body colour interior trim which works well since it's free on the Spyder - I had to pay for it on the GT4! Didn't bother with dual zone climate on the Spyder given that I'll only intentionally be using it with the top down.

Now if you could only just put an order into Porsche your evening would be complete!

How much was the Romans Spyder up for? I thought around £77K?

Tell me about it......

The Romans car was on for 77k but was sitting for a while at that I'm guessing they took an offer on it so represented good value considering it was about 70k ish with OTR costs and dealer profits etc! I have a feeling when the sun comes out these will start to increase in value and long term I think they may fair better than the GT4 given how few are being made for the UK!

If the values are heading upward it kinda makes me want to up the spec on mine while I have the chance biggrin

Your spec is spot on..... Spec it for you is what I say!

But if there is something nagging at you I would spec it, life's too short and I'm annoyed I didn't spec PCCB's on the GT4 so let me be an example of what not to do.... smile

There are a couple of things I'd add to the GT4 if I could too.

I'm pretty happy with the Spyder as is. Custom colour aside!
