Anyone know how many 981 Spyders being built for the UK market.
Sure I read somewhere 250 UK 981 Spyders & 350 UK GT4's.

I'm not sure if the overall numbers are that close. My OPC ended up with 5 Spyders and 15 GT4. Other dealers talk of 2 to 3 Spyder allocations, but they will have received less GT4s also.

I don't think many more than 150 Spyders are coming to the UK. But that is just a guess.

From Conversations I have had with various OPC's when trying to buy a Spyder in January I dont think its anything like that number for Spyders , most seem to have got around 7-9 Gt4's with plenty more orders but no allocations and most I spoke only had 2 /3 Spyders go out as there was not the interest in them that the GT4 had .

Sounds right. Can't imagine more than 90 or so Spyders.

Most would choose one of the bucket seat options but nothing wrong with 18-way adaptive.

The spec lists PDLS and PDLS+? Either is fine but you won't have both smile

I wouldn't be keen without one of the two bucket options but each to their own! What are they asking out of interest?

Yep, think buckets would be more desirable but given how rare these are going to be there is likely to be some compromise if buying used. Depends what's high on your desirability radar.

im in late on these so having to pay a premium of about 10% , I have those seats in my C4S and had them in my RS60 , they are comfy , but i do like the look of the bucket seat ,

Have you looked at the hippo car?

Ticks all the boxes and shouldn't be paying OPC overs!

i like that , it does indeed grind to pay a premium to OPC , but that's business they retail GT3's over list , all on desirability

Actually, 10% sounds a decent rate.

I still can't believe I managed to bag one as I came late to the party. I emailed around 20 OPC's just before Christmas & one came back saying they had a customer who was likely to cancel his order; so I managed to jump in & order with my own spec etc. I wasn't really looking to change my car either as really like my 997 Gen 2.

A lot more that's being touted on here by owners ;-) most OPC got more cars just like they did GT4 and RS's.

My OPC got 7 Spyders ! as an example.
