That made me laugh!

Weather not so kind up here in the Midlands. It's either been raining or threatening to since I picked the car up on Friday afternoon.

Car drives superbly.

Before the clutch went....what a fantastic car. Seems to be much more than the sum of its parts. I can very much see how people prefer them to the GT4.

Congrats on the car looks a winner despite the unfortunate start to the love affair

Hope it gets fixed pronto

Looks great. Wheels look nice. As you know my spec is very similar. I dithered between silver & black wheels - hope I made the right decision as yours looks brill.

Sorry to hear about your clutch. I've just had mine replaced on my Spyder. Main oil seal was leaking onto the clutch plate and it was slipping when I gave it full throttle. Didn't discover the fault until I'd started using more power after 1,200 miles or so. I'm told by the OPC it would have been like that from day one.

I've secured a 4th year warranty and free 2 year service for my trouble.

Thanks for the feedback.

Absolutely no idea what mine is likely to be? No signs of leaking fluids.Totally out of the blue the pedal disappeared to the floor.

Here is my new Spyder.

Got it from Porsche Sheffield. Very impressed with the service and the car so far.

It's not brand new, it's done 2,000 miles.

Seen that Spyder several times at OPC, it's stunning. Lovely car.

It did have black wheels, but I wasn't that keen, and the dealer said I could have them re-painted, so I went for the gunmetal type colour after seeing it on several cars on this forum.

Did the OPC make you aware at the time of ordering that there would be no rear speakers with SPP (i.e. the description was wrong?
My OPC has forwarded my questions to Reading to see what they say.
I said that I had chosen this option specifically down to the description on the website, so lets see what they say.

No doubt they will say, no one else has raised this question smile
Does anyone know if there would be any wiring already in place for rear speakers ??
The OPC has said there is not any wiring in place hence the reason they cant add the Speakers, oh and also you need the PCM head unit for SPP although it is known that many Caymans have SPP with no PCM unit and rear speakers.

One of my new Spyder only done 50 miles so no comparison yet against my 987 Spyder .Like the exhaust sound .Inside certainly seems a bit quieter with just some wind noise
