Thanks gents. Unfortunate start aside it's a cracker. Think I got the spec about right.
Sorry to hear about your clutch. I've just had mine replaced on my Spyder. Main oil seal was leaking onto the clutch plate and it was slipping when I gave it full throttle. Didn't discover the fault until I'd started using more power after 1,200 miles or so. I'm told by the OPC it would have been like that from day one. I've secured a 4th year warranty and free 2 year service for my trouble.

Did the OPC make you aware at the time of ordering that there would be no rear speakers with SPP (i.e. the description was wrong?
My OPC has forwarded my questions to Reading to see what they say.I said that I had chosen this option specifically down to the description on the website, so lets see what they say.
No doubt they will say, no one else has raised this question

One of my new Spyder only done 50 miles so no comparison yet against my 987 Spyder .Like the exhaust sound .Inside certainly seems a bit quieter with just some wind noise
