Was told mine was at emden last Wednesday! And then from when it's physically on the dock in the uk! Guaranteed 5 days to the opc still waiting for news! Think I'm going to call them today again! No news is not good news! It's going to be a hot weekend!
I think mine was too. It sailed on Thursday's boat (the "African Highway" apparently) to Sheerness. beacytan said:
Love it. I'd love mine done but I think I'd worry about jet washing the car when they're on. Could this be a problem or am I over-thinking it?
Never had an issue using my pressure washer on the decal from the Cayman R. You just have to be sensible and obviously not hit it on the edges at very close range!Collected today from getting the self healing paint protection film fitted. Had complete front bumper, both full side skirts right up to the quarter panel and had the area done where the hood catches would scuff should they ever make a break for freedom.Quite difficult to see that its been fitted, certainly come on a long way from the films of years ago !

You're overthinking it. As long as the surface is prepped properly before being applied, they'll be fine. Whilst my decals aren't quite the size as these, I was initially very cautious when washing, thinking I may get under an edge, but they truly are planted, I don't even think about it now when washing.beacytan said:

Over thinking it - they'd be fine if you were moderately carefull - I have side decals on the RS - had no problems and I use a jet wash Edited by RSVP911 on Wednesday 4th May 21:05

Thanks for posting this - I've been waiting to see how they look - Really glad you are happy with them and most seem to agree that they work - I really like the idea of them but I think they are too short on the door and should be longer / further back - also they look like they rise as they go back (not a fitting issue but a challenge of the sill angle ) tricky because of the intakes but , they don't quite work IMHO - really sorry . Maybe it's the image and in rel life you don't notice this / maybe I'm just overly anal about this sort of thing - either way - none of my business - enjoy RSVP911 said:

I think a meeting of GT3 RS and Spyder is required to settle it, when are you free?

Mine is at the dealers. Collecting Saturday morning after they've applied the Porsche Motorsport decal.
Looks nice, should be good with the decals. Are you going to keep this or flip it?Great summer car and a treat to drive - ridiculously good. Beyond that I do change cars with a degree of regularity so really depends on what else catches my eye.
It's so much more enjoyable than the 991.2 I'm currently using as a loaner while it's back at OPC Cardiff.

you lucky lucky man! ive heard nothing at all, and it must have been on the same slow boat, feel like ringing them but it really should be the other way round, and the opc is not "local" enough for me to pop in un announced!!
They ought to be able to tell on their tracking systempencil9 said:

I was told that once the cars are on the boat the OPC don't get regular updates as to where they are. They can guess because the people responsible for delivery have to turn the cars around in five working days but the next thing they will hear is the delivery date. I found my OPC reluctant to speculate because they don't want disappointed customers.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
