Another off topic question:

I'd like to have my Spyder fully valet detailed. Can anyone recommend any decent companies in or around Essex?

Not quite Essex, but I recommend Ed Staples / Divine Detail. He does get busy though, but fair prices and incredible work:

Mate, your contribution to virtually any thread you get involved with is to try and look down your nose at other people. Get a life.
You tell me not to look down my nose at any one then say "get a life" lol really ?

Aaanyway. Idiots aside, brilliant weather for the Spyder today. Parked in the garage roof off, ready for the morning smile

Stuart at F1 wax is good - he has done my RS and CGT and my wife's GT4. I will be getting him to work on my 73RS when I pick it up too.

I looked at your comment and it made me look at your garage. I have just had a minor crisis in the gentleman area. WOW. smile

Got home this evening lit the BBQ and took the roof off the Spyder (although a 987.2) for tomorrow's commute.

I have to do an airport drop off very early, 3 people, so will be in the BM, but will be back early enough to swap cars and still get an early blast tomorrow morning, looking forward to it already 😎

Roof down, windscreen cleaned, ready for my 30 mile commute across the New Forest in the morning (or maybe longer....).

Happy days.

Sadly it looks like I will have to let mine go now, as I'm going to need 4 seats.
Or 3 more accurately.
I would love that car. How much over list price are you looking for?

Got a decent drive in mine yesterday evening, driving back from Chipping Norton across to the A41 and on to north London.
Accident on the A40 forced the detour, and boy was it good.

Think it was the B4030.

Whilst I'm not in to the auto blip in Sport Plus the exhaust does seem even more vocal than Sport.
Sounded pretty much like a machine gun I thought..

Spent the day being detoured around Leicester(shire) due to tractors, traffic, need to buy mars bar, and any other excuse I could think of....

Great colour - the right PTS adds such a lot to desirability.

Needs the side stripe biggrin

Can't be easy to let it go. I was desperate for PTS on the Spyder but the timing wasn't right.
