Boxster Spyder
Discussion
I take it is the 981 Spyder you are after .I have a list of all the codes and what they are (ie XSX seat belts in red ) but no prices against them .I do have though some prices for the options specified on my own one (ie XSX seat belts in red £179 )
No idea how to down load but could post out details if required .

How's your GT4?
My eldest is just 8 but already getting too tall for the back of the 997 GTS and I do love the look of the Spyder... It could be the time to go selfish and switch to two seats! 997.2 GT3 are now well out of my price range as are good spec GT4's and I do enjoy open top drives so the 981 Spyder ticks the boxes.
Think a trip to a local OPC with one in stock and then the Glasgow car looks the best option at the moment but can't see a lot of demand over the dark winter months so we will see.

Hey Chris, nice time to buy a Spyder I guess, and this month too. Find a dealer that has bought the Spyder, they may need to clear the books by month end. GT4 is great, but tucked away in storage until March. Price difference between Spyder and GT4 isn't much (drop me an email on mine). My missus came in a while back to take some old tyres from you, think she said you spoke haha. How's your GT4?

So you've put yours to sleep over the winter...! Values are very close but a good spec GT4 is £90k whilst i'd like to think a good spec Spyder could come for under £80k and I do like the idea of roof down motoring again...
Maybe a few cheeky bids and see what comes of it... And I don't think either the GT4 or Spyder are going to kick me in the balls depreciation wise.

You'll love the Spyder - I could have had a GT4 but this would have meant giving up the Spyder - drove the 4 a few times and decided no way - preferred the Spyder - it's a blast and also the best sounding car ever - no Sharkwerks required

After pondering sell/keep I have used the car for the past 4 weeks day in day out.
Plus a weekly trip to Cambridge - 200 mile round trip
Why did I think of selling it ??
No idea - just needed a bit of bonding .........
I have just agreed to trade my car and have not driven it since I made the decision for exactly that reason as I know if I drove it would make the decision even harder ! Plus a weekly trip to Cambridge - 200 mile round trip
Why did I think of selling it ??

Your on the right track. I went GTS manual to spyder and no regrets other than I wish I could have kept it as well. How's your GT4?
