As the reality of the 718 sinks in prices will at least hold. What else is there at this level that's modern? It's classics otherwise as far as I can tell.

Confirmation of a potential turbo GT4 would surely be the final price stabiliser, if not rocket.

It is true that at the price point , there is not much newish metal , which tickles me. Only Porsche which I really like the look of is a Targa , as I have really enjoyed the open top , which as my first convertible , is something I didnt count on.

Yep. Price/practicality/driver enjoyment - in the modern roadster world nothing comes close. Even if increasing budget they are more useable than Ferrari/Mclaren etc too.

I like the look of targas but suddenly you're adding more weight etc. Hard to find something modern that's as focused anywhere near this price.

I know it will tickle some but I can honestly see them being worth more than GT4 long term.

Best £50k you can spend on a Porsche at the moment. Nothing else comes close at the money.
